RIO Fluoroflex Trout Fluorocarbon Tapered Leader

The RIO Fluoroflex Trout Fluorocarbon Tapered Leader gives trout anglers a stealthy option for fooling line-shy fish in clear water when every detail in the presentation counts. Made from 100% fluorocarbon, this tapered trout leader helps reduce visibility while maintaining high abrasion resistance, strong tensile strength, and dependable knot strength for confident hook sets on trout in rivers, spring creeks, tailwaters, and stillwater. The long butt section transfers energy efficiently through the cast to help turn over dry flies, nymphs, and small streamers with better control, while the perfection loop keeps rigging simple at the fly line connection. For anglers targeting pressured trout in technical water, this fluorocarbon fly leader offers the low-vis profile and reliable strength needed for clean presentations and solid landing performance.
