The tang (end of the blade) and blade are forged in one piece, then painstakingly ground to the perfect shape and finish. A special stain-resistant knife steel, Z50C13, Rockwell 54-56 HRC, is used which makes a razor-sharp edge and the composition handles are securely riveted to the tang.Made in Thiers France
